How It WorksThe IGR in Gentrol Aerosol provides preventative action, since it disrupts stored product pests' normal development. Hydroprene, the active ingredient, prevents stored product pest larvae from progressing to the pupal stage of development, so the larvae die before they become breeding adults - and future infestations.

To apply as a general surface or spot application, hold can 10" to 12" away from the surface to be treated. Use a sweeping motion over the surface to be treated for complete coverage. This product applies as a light foam that dissipates readily. An oily residue may be apparent in heavy applicatins. The visiblity of the dissipating foam eliminaes the possibility of missed areas.

Drain flies live and breed in the slime that accumulates in drains, it could be caused (also) by a broken drain pipe.
